PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery of high capacity capable of charging and discharging using a sulfur-based positive electrode active material. SOLUTION: The positive electrode of this battery uses an active material consisting of nickel sulfide expressed by NiSy (y>=1.0). The positive electrode has a black mix layer formed on at least one surface of its positive electrode collector, and the black mix containing nickel sulfide expressed by NiSy, a conductive substance and a binder is shaped in a thin film so that the black mix layer is formed, wherein the thickness of the positive electrode black mix layer should preferably be 5-200 μm. |
