PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device of the optimal sight rate respectively at the time of animation photography or at the time of still picture photography. SOLUTION: It is determined whether the mode is an animation photography mode wherein animations are recorded in a recording medium or a still picture photography mode wherein still pictures are recorded in a recording medium. When determined as the animation photography mode, the animations are displayed in an indication part where the sight rate is made narrower than at the time of a still picture photography mode.
