A digital contents service providing method for preventing contents leakage by a hacking program, a recording medium storing the program, a digital contents providing system and a subscriber terminal are provided to protect digital contents copyright by inserting a forensic mark to the restored digital contents. A component among a DRM agent(201), a decoder(203) and a forensic mark inserter(205) is provided to a certificate by determining the effectiveness based on each generic number. A CA(Certificate Authority) server performs operation in order to perform link encryption or check the effectiveness by exchanging each certificate by contents provision-related modules.
