PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a crack in a concrete structure installed outdoors, without relying on visual inspection.SOLUTION: A crack detection method includes: the step of attaching a strain gauge on a surface of a concrete structure installed outdoors; the step of measuring a response of the strain gauge against an external environment received by the concrete structure; and the step of determining an occurrence of a crack in the concrete structure according to a relational expression of the measurement result and a response of the strain gauge against an influence received by a concrete structure having no crack.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
