PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic coagulant excellent in coagulation and decoloring effects and a coagulation and flocculation treatment agent excellent in coagulation and flocculation performances such as the coarsening of floc, the increase of floc strength, the reduction of water content in dewatered cake, filtrate decoloring, COD reduction and the like.SOLUTION: An organic coagulant including a water-soluble (co)polymer where a water-soluble unsaturated monomer containing a water-soluble cationic monomer represented by general formula (1) is a constitutional unit and a salt represented by general formula (2) and having a salt content based on the weight of the water-soluble (co)polymer of 1-20%, with an intrinsic viscosity of the water-soluble (co)polymer of 0.010-3.5; and a coagulant and an aggregation treatment agent for sludge and waste water combining the organic coagulant with a polymer flocculant are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
