PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always maintain toner amount supplied to a discharge unit for a predetermined time constant and to stabilize printing quality by providing a toner amount measuring means for measuring the amount in ink introduced into an ink chamber, and controlling a pump conveying amount according to the toner amount in the ink introduced into the chamber. SOLUTION: A toner amount measuring sensor 9 measures a toner amount in ink 2 passing through an introducing pipeline 6, and delivers toner amount data 11 to a controller 8. The controller 8 controls conveying amounts of an ink supply pump 7 and ink discharge pump 3 based on the data 11 according to pump drive data 14. The controller 8 increases circulating amounts of the pump 7 and the pump 3 according to the obtained toner amount data when the toner amount in the ink 2 becomes a printable range or less capable of obtaining stable print, and circulates the toner amount in the ink 2 passing for a predetermined time to become equivalent toner amount to that in the case that the toner amount in the ink 2 falls within the printable range. |
