METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETERMINING QUALITY INFORMATION ABOUT TO-BE-COMMENTED ITEM

A method and apparatus for determining quality information about a to-be-commented item. The method comprises: determining quality information about each piece of comment information about a to-be-commented item based on a quality score of a comment content and/or reliability of a commenter(S1); and determining quality information about the to-be-commented item by synthesizing the quality information about each piece of comment information (S2). The method and apparatus propose a new evaluation index for the to-be-commented item, namely, the quality information about the to-be-commented item. Different from an existing rating mechanism for the to-be-commented item, the quality information about the to-be-commented item can be more accurate and is difficultly abused by a commenter. Moreover, the quality information about the to-be-commented item can guide the commenter to truly and objectively comment the to-be-commented item and completely eradicate actions such as promotion and malicious attacks gradually, thereby creating a better comment atmosphere.
