PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet transmission device which has a change function for a transmission rate of a communication path, and performs a packet standby control corresponding to the change of the transmission rate.SOLUTION: A packet transmission device 51a according to the present invention, comprises: a packet output part 514 that transmit a packet at a set transmission rate; a packet standby control 513a that temporally holds the packet transmitted from the packet output part 514 to a buffer, determines a buffer threshold value that regulates a variable limit of a number of packets or a data amount based on the maximum speed, the minimum speed, and a regulation time which are predetermined when the packet is stored to the buffer, and performs the packet standby control; and a speed control setting part 518 that sets a setting value including the maximum speed, minimum speed, and regulation time to the packet standby control 513a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
