PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a portion formed in a cylinder block out of an oil supply passage.SOLUTION: An oil supply device 200 includes a cylinder block 2, an oil pan 3, an oil pump 81 and an oil filter 82. A side wall of the oil pan 3 is connected to a side wall of the cylinder block 2. The oil filter 82 is mounted to the oil pan 3, and an upstream side oil supply passage 71 in which oil filtrated by the oil filter 82 is formed in the oil pan. A downstream side oil supply passage 72 including a main gallery 74 extending in a cylinder row direction is formed in the cylinder block 2. A first communication passage 73a for communicating the main gallery 74 and the upstream side oil supply passage 71 with each other is formed on the side wall of the cylinder block 2 and the side wall of the oil pan 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
