PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display and a method of fabricating the liquid crystal display are provided to simplify a liquid crystal display fabrication process and to reduce manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display includes the first substrate(10) on which a plurality of pixel electrodes(80) and thin film transistors(90) are formed, the second substrate(100) facing the first substrate, and a negative electrode formed on the second substrate. The liquid crystal display further includes an insulating layer(300) that is formed on the negative electrode and has a plurality of openings, red, green and blue luminants(410,420,430) formed in the openings, and a positive electrode(700) formed on the insulating layer. The liquid crystal display also has a conductive polymer film(500) formed on the luminants, and a polarizer film(600) formed on the conductive polymer film. Each luminant is smaller than each pixel electrode.
