PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which does not generate fogging, character dispersion and lowering of image density on an image obtained by mixing fresh toner and recycling toner. SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with a photoreceptor, an electrifying device, an exposure optical system as an image exposure means, a developing device which performs image development with toner, a transfer device, and a cleaning device. The image forming device is further provided with a recycling toner transport device for reusing non-transferred toner as recycling toner by returning the non-transferred toner recovered with the cleaning device to a temporary storage tank of toner provided between the above developing device or this developing device and a fresh toner replenishing device. A toner ratio control device is provided for controlling the ratio of the quantity of recycling toner in the developing device or the temporary storage tank of toner and the quantity of fresh toner supplied from a fresh toner replenishing device. |
