PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body having high sensitivity and improved electrostatic stability against repetitive operation by incorporating a specified metalfree tetra-2, 3-quinoxaline porphyrazine compd into a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A metal free tetra-2, 3-quinoxaline porphyrazine compd. expressed by the formula I is incorporated into a phtosensitive layer formed on an electroconductive base body. In the formula, each R1-R4 is halogen atoms which may be same or different to each other; OH group; nitro group; sulfonic acid group; (substituted) 1-8C alkyl group, alkoxy group, alkenyl group, aryl group, aralkyl group, acyl group; and group selected from groups expressed -NR5R6. Thus, an electrophotographic sensitive body having high sensitivity, superior electrostatic stability causing small optical and electrical fatigue against repetitive operation is obtd., which has a sensitivity to light of wide wavelength region, being effective also for semiconductor laser and LED. |
