PURPOSE:To obtain the laser beam averaged in energy distribution and to improve the accuracy of laser beam processing by accepting the laser beam in an integrating sphere, taking out the laser beam with a bundle of plural optical fibers and projecting the laser beam from the optical fiber bundle. CONSTITUTION:The laser beam LB oscillated from a laser oscillator 3 is condensed by a condenser lens 13 and is accepted into the integrating sphere 5. The integrating sphere 5 is kept cooled by a water cooling pipe 15 provided on the outer periphery and the base parts of the many optical fibers 7 are implanted around the integrating sphere 5. The front ends 17 of the fibers are brought into tight contact with each other and are bundled in this state; in addition, the front ends are molded and fixed by a molding material consisting of a proper resin and are formed to a proper diameter. These optical fibers are fixed in proximity to the condenser lens 9 provided on a laser beam processing head 11. Thus, the energy distribution of the condensed laser beam is evened over the entire part and the laser beam processing is well executed. The laser beam is condensed to the circular shape and the processing accuracy is improved. |
