PURPOSE:To produce an audio sheet made of a thin sheet-shaped optical storage medium excellent in mechanical characteristics and optical characteristics. CONSTITUTION:Information pits 12 having a rugged shape corresponding to an audio information signal and a preformat signal subjected to signal processing by a method for CD are formed in a thermoplastic flexible sheet 1 having <=100mum thickness and the surfaces of the pits 12 are coated with a reflecting film 13 to obtain an audio sheet on which laser light for reading information is made incident from the sheet 11 side. At this time, the above- mentioned signals are transferred to a heat transfer sheet by heat transfer with a metal stamper to obtain a recording layer and a reflecting layer is formed on the surface of the recording layer.
