PURPOSE:To industrially obtain the compound at a greatly improved production rate in a low catalyst concentration under mild reaction conditions by reacting the raw materials in the presence of the copper salt of an aliphatic acid as a catalyst. CONSTITUTION:(A) A halogenated aromatic compound is reacted with (B) ammonia in the presence of (C) an aliphatic carboxylic acid copper salt to obtain the compound. For example, a polybasic acid copper salt of the formula, concretely, copper succinate, is used as the component A in a copper/component A equivalent ratio of 0.01-0.5/1. The component B is used in an amount of 0.1-100 equivalents per equivalent of the halogen atom of the component A. |
