An apparatus and method alarming opening and closing in a distribution automation system are provided to output flicking signal for ten seconds and recognize the warning condition. A control processor(10) senses when status of opening or closing device is changed and outputs warning control signal A relay(11) help to provide electric power by alarm control signal of control processor. A timer(12) operates warning in case that the relay operates. A buzzer(13) generates alarm when the electricity is applied. A lamp(14) generates warning light when the electricity is applied.
