PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up the driving of a flat panel sensor. SOLUTION: The radiation photography instrument comprises a first drive circuit 103 that drives first switch elements TT11-TT63 connected to conversion elements S11-S63, a second drive circuit 104 that drives second switch elements TR11-TR63 connected to the conversion elements S11-S63, and a control unit 105 for separately controlling the first and second drive control units 103 and 104 at different timings.
