PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller whereby a damage, dirt, and malfunction of a display section or the like can be prevented without providing a cover and the screen size of the display section can be increased without increasing size of the remote controller itself. SOLUTION: The remote controller disclosed herein includes: a main body 1; and a liquid crystal display panel 58 at least the display screen of which is movable to a position covered by the main body 1.
