PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel of a construction preventing an occurrence of element destruction. SOLUTION: A picture display part 1 comprises a liquid crystal 54 filled between a TFT substrate 5 and a counter substrate 6, and a common electrode 11 and a pixel electrode 12 for displaying a picture by applying voltage to the liquid crystal 54. A gate driver 2 and a drain drive 3 are formed between the TFT substrate 5 and the counter substrate 6, and supplies voltage to the pixel electrode 12. A sealing part 4 is formed from a sealing material 41 including a gap material for keeping the gap between the TFT substrate 5 and the counter substrate 6 constant, and the TFT substrate 5 is bonded to the counter substrate 6 to fill the liquid crystal 54 in-between. Moreover, the gate driver 2 has a multi-layer area where multi-layer structured elements are formed; a non-multi-layer area where elements other than the multi-layered elements are formed; and the sealing part 4 is formed in the periphery of the peripheral display part 1, the gate driver 2, and the drain driver 3 at least to avoid the multi-layered area. |
