PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift control device of an automatic transmission, capable of reducing a frequency of travelling at high engine speed near a top of an uphill road and improving fuel consumption.SOLUTION: While a vehicle travels on an uphill road (S1 is Yes), shift up of an automatic transmission is limited (S4) until the time of arrival to a top of the uphill road is within a predetermined time T (S3 is No), the shift up limitation is cancelled (S6) when the time is within the predetermined time T (S3 is Yes), and the vehicle shifts (S7) to be in shift control based on a normal shift map. |
