<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling method for minimizing the camber of a rolled stock and suppressing wedge to the utmost in the stage of rough rolling of continuous hot rolling. SOLUTION: In rolling for suppressing the camber in which a side guide for restraining the bend of the rolled stock and centering the rolled stock is installed on the inlet and outlet sides of a rolling rolls, the amount of wedge is detected with a measuring instrument which is installed on the outlet or the inlet side of the rolled stock. When measuring on the outlet side, feedback control is performed using the amount, and, when measuring on the inlet side, feedforward control is performed using the difference load between the right and the left of the roll and load applied to the side guide in combination to suppress both the camber and the wedge at the same time.</p> |
