A resilient yielding means for the roll pair (1, 4) Figure 1 in a crusher apparatus where at least one of the two crush rolls (1) has been rotatably carried on a swing arm (3) rotatably carried in the frame (2) of the apparatus so that the throat between the rolls opens under effect of an uncrushable object impacted therebetween. The resilient yielding mechanism consists of two linkage arms (5, 6) pivotally mounted to each other, one end (7) of this pair of arms being rotatably carried in the frame (2) of the crusher apparatus and the opposite end (8) in the swing arm (3). The pair of arms (5, 6) is acted upon by a force (F2) Figure 2 which is opposed to the force (F1) tending to open the rolls. <IMAGE> |
