PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas burning boiler capable of performing accurate determination of the presence or non-presence of gas leakage over a valve when a fuel control valve is closed.SOLUTION: A gas burning boiler comprises air supply means, a fuel control valve, a gas sensor and over-valve gas leakage determination means. The over-valve gas leakage determination means comprises: a first detection control part for controlling the air supply means to perform first scavenging when a burner stops combustion, and subsequently controlling the gas sensor to perform first detection; a first determination part for determining that the non-presence of over-valve gas leakage is found when the first detection does not detect any leakage; a second detection control part for controlling the air supply means to perform second scavenging when leakage is detected at the first detection, and subsequently controlling the gas sensor to perform second detection; and a second determination part for determining that no over-valve gas leakage occurs when the second detection does not show any detection and in turn determining that over-valve gas leakage occurs when the second detection shows detection of leakage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
