PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint which is less restricted in a collar working method and a material to be used, and less easy in the occurrence of a fatal accident such that a collar is drawn out of a joint body. SOLUTION: In the pipe joint in which the collar 5 is press-fitted in a hole 10 for installing a holding member formed on a thermoplastic resin joint body 1, and an engagement projection 50 formed on an outer circumference of the collar 5 is engaged with a wall surface of the hole 10 for installing the holding member in the joint body 1, a space in a range over the engagement projection 50 from an open part of the hole 10 for installing the holding member in the joint body 1 is heated and pressed from the outer circumference of the joint body 1 to perform the thermal caulking. |
