PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical type skewer-roasting device, easily mountable for use on a household gas stove or portable gas stove, in which gas flames do not reach food, and sufficient radiation heat can be uniformly radiated along the whole vertical length of the food. SOLUTION: The device comprises a burning grill 1, a gravy receiving tray 2, and a skewer stand 3. The burning grill 1 to be placed on the gravy receiving tray 2 comprises cylindrical grill members doubly disposed at a prescribed interval from each other.
