PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wheelchair capable of changing the direction in a narrow place. SOLUTION: This electric wheelchair which can change the direction by rotating a seat face, is so formed that a means for rotating the seat face is installed with a small gear which is engaged with an inner gear fixed to the back side of the seat face and driven by a small gear driving motor attached to a central rod, and the inner gear engaged with the small gear is rotated by driving the small gear driving motor to rotate the seat face.
