PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket issuing machine and server capable of quickly recovering from a failure.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a ticket issuing machine includes inquiry means, selection means, and guide means. The inquiry means inquires, when a failure occurs during processing, whether or not it is possible to perform recovery processing for executing the continuation of the processing that is not complete, from a plurality of other ticket issuing machines. The selection means selects any one of the ticket issuing machines that return a response indicating that it is possible to perform the recovery processing in response to the inquiry by the inquiry means. Transmission means transmits recovery information to the ticket issuing machine selected by the selection means. The guide means shows the ticket issuing machine to which the recovery information has been transmitted by the transmission means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
