PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic laminated body wherein Karr-rotating angle (thetaK) is enhanced in the visible light region and has the max. value at an arbitrary wave length in a range of 310-560 nm by laminating a thin film contg. Cu and Ag and a magnetic film. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic laminated body which is pref. one when used as a photomagnetic recording medium consists of an alloy of Cu and Ag or a thin film contg. an Cu compd. or alloy and an Ag compd. or alloy and a mag netic film consisting of a transition metal consisting of Fe, Co etc., and a rare earth etc., and it may be a multi-lavered laminated body wherein these laminat ed bodies are furthermore multi-lavered. The compsn. of the alloy film of Cu and Ag is shown by 0<x<1 when it is expressed as Cu1-l Agx. |
