PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that the exact detection of a peak power Pp and a bias power Pb for controlling a laser power is difficult when the modulation speed of a laser is increased, and to provide a laser control circuit, by which the peak power Pp and the bias power Pb are exactly controlled even when the speed is not high for a photodiode 1 and a monitor circuit 2. SOLUTION: The device is constituted in such a manner that the detection efficiencies of a peak hold circuit 6 and a bottom hold circuit 5 at the time of high speed modulation are obtained by adding the external disturbance to the current of a semiconductor laser 10 and detecting the external disturbance components from the peak hold circuit 6, the bottom hold circuit 5 and a sample hold circuit 4, then corrected by the calculation in an arithmetic circuit 3. |
