PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-PTS sugar transporter of Brevibacterium lactofermentum and a DNA encoding the same, which DNA can be used for breeding a coryneform bacterium. SOLUTION: A protein expressed by (A) or (B) and a DNA encoding the same. (A) A protein having an amino acid sequence described in a sequence number 6 of Sequence Listing. (B) A protein consisting of an amino acid sequence containing a substitution, a deletion, an insertion, an addition or an inversion of one or more amino acids in an amino acid sequence described in a sequence number 6 of Sequence Listing and having a sugar transporter activity. |
