A method for learning language by using chunking and a method for generating a chunk recoding medium used in the same are provided to analyze a multimedia file in a chunk unit and offer chunk pattern data, so that a learner, who wants to learn a foreign language, can obtain understanding about the foreign language and a learning effect through repeated learning by using multimedia. A method for generating a chunking recoding medium comprises the following steps of: loading a multimedia file to a multimedia device; reproducing the multimedia file in the multimedia device and analyzing the multimedia file in a chunk unit; forming chunk pattern data with the multimedia file divided by the chunk unit; and changing the chunk pattern data into a chunk file of a multimedia recording medium and storing the chunk file.
