PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To definitely prevent an illegal unlock regardless of a vehicle type and design of a door handle device.SOLUTION: A lever 22 is fit to a base 16. A projection amount of a movement prevention component 24 toward the operation lever 22 is adjusted by a projection amount adjusting mechanism 26 so that a base part 2402 of the movement prevention component 24 and a guided part 2204 of the operation lever 22 always contact to each other. A key cylinder 18 and the movement prevention component 24 are fit to the base 16. Thus, a door handle device 10 is installed on a vehicle door 12. If the operation lever 22 is attempted to displace toward the key cylinder 18 by the external force after removing a cover 20 by an external force from a flange 1808 of the key cylinder 18, the operation lever 22 cannot be displaced toward the key cylinder 18 as the guided part 2204 of the operation lever 22 always contacts with the base part 2402 of the movement prevention component 24, and a bearing part 2212 of the operation lever 22 cannot be removed from a support shaft 1624 of the base 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
