PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server having an electric power demand management function, a communication apparatus, a system, and a power use management method.SOLUTION: A server includes: a storage unit that stores subscriber information including the amount of power consumption of at least one load apparatus of a subscriber; a reception unit that receives a request signal for power use saving; a selection unit that selects a subscriber, whom the server is going to ask power use saving, using the subscriber information in response to receiving the request signal; a transmission unit that transmits guidance information on the power use saving to a communication apparatus of the selected subscriber; a monitoring unit that monitors the amount of power consumption of the at least one load apparatus of the selected subscriber; and a compensation management unit that provides a prescribed compensation for the subscriber if the amount of power consumption of the load apparatus reduces according to the guidance information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
