PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold an actuator at the closing position and breaking position even in a parasitic state such as power outage, and to release the holding state when operation is instructed.SOLUTION: In a gas circuit breaker having an operation unit, including a cutoff section having a pair of contactors provided oppositely in a cutoff section case (1) where insulation gas is sealed, a mover (141) arranged coaxially with the operation axis of the contactor while inverting the magnetic pole of a permanent magnet (142) or a magnetic material alternately, and constituted integrally, a stator (131) disposed oppositely to the mover (141), and including a plurality of magnetic poles having a winding, and a power supply device (161) for supplying a current to a winding (136), in an operation unit case, latch members (220, 320) are provided on the side of the stator (131) close to the cutoff section and the side remote from the cutoff section, and an engaging part of the latch members is provided in the mover (141).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
