PURPOSE:To bring both the magnetic gap of a magnetic head and an electrode for detecting the change of an electrostatic capacity value into good contact with the surface of a magnetic recording medium simultaneously by providing the electrodes in an operating gap in a state that the electrode is insulated from a core and in addition, its top part is exposed to a sliding surface. CONSTITUTION:The electrode E for detecting the change of the electrostatic capacity value is provided in the operating gap G as being insulated from the cores 1, 2 and in addition, the top end being exposed to the slide surface A. Accordingly, the operating gap (magnetic gap) G and the change of electrostatic capacity value detecting electrode E stand close to each other. Thus, the area of the sliding surface to slide and be in contact on/with the surface of the magnetic recording medium comes small, and it comes easy to bring both the part of the operating gap G of the magnetic head and the part of the change of electrostatic capacity value detecting electrode E into good contact with the magnetic recording medium simultaneously, and besides, the shape of it can be made small. |
