PURPOSE:To increase a pressure accepting area against a twisting vibration and improve a strength against the vibration by a method wherein at least a part of the mounting portions between a motor base and a main body is inclined. CONSTITUTION:In order to mount a fan motor 3 of an outdoor unit, a cantilever supporting using a motor base 12 is applied. The motor base 12 is vertically installed and a part of the mounting part 18 (between the motor base 12 and a bottom wall 1b) is inclined to from a cantilever structure. theta is an inclination angle of the mounting part 18. As a propeller fan 4 is rotated, twisting vibrations in upward or downward or a rightward or leftward direction is generated at the propeller fan 4 around the fan motor 3. An inclination angle thetaof the mounting portion 18 is formed, thereby a pressure accepting area for receiving the twisting vibration in the upward or downward direction and a rightward or leftward direction is increased and its surface contact may act as a resisting force opposing to the twisting vibration. That is, the inclined part itself shows a rigid strength and a strength against the twisting vibration is strengthened. |
