<p>A garment hanging device 102 includes a plastic hook 104 adapted for sliding on a rail 106 and has a lower tongue portion 108 extending transversally of a vertical axis through the hook when suspended, but in the same general plane as the hook. A loop 115 of flexible webbing, stitched at 116 across its width to define smaller and larger loops 117A, 117B, is attached to the hook by sliding the smaller loop over the tongue, which may have protrusions 114 to prevent release of said loop therefrom without further manipulation. The hooks of many conventional garment hangers can be carried in the larger loop and thus carried by the rail.</p> |
