摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide white fluorescent glass manufactured into a large sized plate of equal to or above several tens cm with a simple operation at a low cost. SOLUTION: The transparent fluorescent glass is made from soda-lime glass as a basic material and contains 0.8-2.5% Sn (expressed in terms of SnO) and≤0.045% Fe (expressed in terms of Fe2O3) basing on the weight of the soda-lime glass as a reference.
