摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing processed food mixed with tomato and salt so as to readily take tomato components having excellent health effects. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing processed food comprises the following process: a process of subjecting the tomato to freeze-dry treatment; a process of pulverizing the dried tomato after being subjected to the freeze-dry treatment; a process of adding salt to the pulverized tomato: wherein liquid or powdery bittern, and mineral components may be further added to the mixture. The method makes it possible to provide the freeze-dry tomato processed so as to be handy or convenient to store for a long time while maintaining the flavor and nutrient content of raw fresh tomato.
