<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic olefin composition useful for making molded articles with high surface gloss and mar resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The composition contains, by weight, (1) about 10 to about 90 parts of a propylene homopolymer copolymer, or terpolymer, (2) about 90 to about 10 parts of either an olefin polymer composition that contains a low molecular weight ethylene copolymer rubber; and elastomeric copolymer of ethylene and a C<SB>3</SB>to C<SB>8</SB>α-olefin made with a metallocene catalyst, or a mixture of the two, and (3) about 0.1 to about 10 parts of a lubricant per hundred parts of (1) plus (2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
