METHOD FOR QUALITY CONTROL OF DIGITAL CONTENTS USING DATA HIDING TECHNIQUES AND SYSTEM THEROF

PURPOSE: A method for controlling quality of digital contents using data hiding techniques and a system thereof are provided to service high quality digital contents to a user who pays costs legally. CONSTITUTION: A watermark insertion system separates contents into low quality contents and high quality component data. The watermark insertion system inserts the high quality component data into the low quality contents by using the high quality component data as the watermark information. A content quality control system determines whether a watermark detection system exists in a terminal. When the watermark detection system exists in the terminal, the watermark detection system extracts the high quality component data from the low quality data to which the watermark information is inserted.
