PURPOSE:To prevent an electric current from rapidly changing, when an electric motor is switched from a speed control to a current control, by detecting the current in the electric motor under speed control and storing it in a memory for use as the reference of the current control. CONSTITUTION:When paper is fed, a control device controls a gate in a thyristor rectifier 10 through a speed control unit 8 and a phase control unit 9 so that a speed reference Er equalizes to a speed feedback signal En. When a detector 21 detects the paper to finish its feed, a current feedback circuit is formed through a contact 21A2 and a contact 22B, and an electric motor current is given to a memory circuit 18. The control device opens the contact 22B after the fixed time T1 while closes a contact 22A after the fixed time T2. By the control thus obtained, the electric motor current in that time is stored in the memory circuit 18, and this stored current value serves as the current reference. |
