In an apparatus for supporting tracks on a pillar with a supporting arm engaging under the tracks and capable of being fixed on the pillar, the supporting arm (7) has an annular body (10), for providing support in a manner which is infinitely variable vertically, which annular member can be tilted on the pillar (4) with slight play in a freely displaceable manner and at a continuously variable height by the gravity of the support arm (7) or of the support arm (7) and the track, and fixes the support arm (7) on the pillar (4) in a tilted manner. <IMAGE>
