The present invention relates to an anti-inflammatory pharmaceutical composition and a cosmetic composition containing, as active ingredients, a Erigeron annuus (L.) Pers. extract or breviscapine isolated from Erigeron annuus (L.) Pers. as an active material. The composition of the present invention has an effect on preventing skin inflammatory diseases by inhibiting overexpression of eotaxin-1 and nitric oxide. In addition, the composition of the present invention can be safely applied to a cosmetic composition and a pharmaceutical composition without cytotoxicity and skin side effects.
