PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera which enables satisfactory sound input system at all times, regardless of the relative positions between the camera and the shooter person photographing, when both the image taken and their related sound information are to be input. SOLUTION: This camera is provided with two microphones 102R and 102L located at both lower ends on the back face (side of the person photographing) of the camera moreover with the release button A104 set upward. Therefore, at least one of these microphones can satisfactorily catch voice sound, by coping with various position relationships between the camera and the person photographing. Moreover, the position of these microphones seem most suitable for the normal shooting posture, regarded as being taken most often, as they approach closest to the mouth of the person shooting in normal shooting.
