A UV blocking mask and a method for fabricating the same are provided to improve a UV transmittance by reducing a thickness of a UV transmitting area and increasing a thickness of a UV blocking area. A UV blocking mask includes a transparent substrate(100), a blocking pattern(110), and a supporting member(130). The blocking pattern is formed in cell units on the transparent substrate. The supporting member supports the transparent substrate and attaches or detaches the transparent substrate. The transparent substrate is formed with at least one element selected from a group including a soda lime glass, a non-alkaline glass, and a pyrex. The thickness of the transparent substrate is 0.3 to 1.2mm. The transparent substrate has a concavo-convex part. The blocking pattern is formed in the concavo-convex part. |
