FIELD: technological processes.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparation of a single-layer or bilayer thermoplastic item, thermoplastic item obtained with method and uses thereof as an internal lining for electrical domestic appliances, in particular as a inner door for refrigerators or a refrigerating cell. Thermoplastic item is produced by extrusion/expansion of plastic material, calendering of extruded sheet and heat-forming to obtain desired shape. Production method is characterised by use thereof as an expanding agent of a mixture of citric acid and polyethylene. Reduced density is preferably from 14 wt% to 18 wt%, so as to provide same mechanical characteristics, as well as in item of same polymer material, but not being foamed.EFFECT: produced item shows reduced density of not more than 30 wt%, preferably not more than 20 wt% as compared with item obtained from same material, not being foamed.14 cl, 1 ex |
