A control system comprises: a sensor unit (20), a system controller (30), and a device (40) that generates heat and that is located in a room (13). The system controller (30) generates thermal images of the room (13) based on data that is transmitted from the sensor unit (20). The system controller (30) also detects that position of the device (40) and the position of a user (U1) that moves around the device (40) based on the generated thermal images. The system controller (30) then controls the device (40) based on the detected positions.
