摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent a lowering in the density of a transfer image in a case combined with an n-time mode method by dispersing and incorporating a sublimable dye in an ink layer in a granular state and also incorporating spacer particles. CONSTITUTION:At least a thermally sublimable dye is contained in the ink layer 2 provided on a substrate 1 so as to be dispersed in a polymer binder in a granular state and spherical spacer particles are dispersed and contained in the ink layer 2 so as to protrude from the ink layer. By allowing the dye to be present as solid particles is mentioned above, good many-time printing becomes possible in a uniform velocity mode. At the time of n-time mode recording, by containing spherical spacer particles having a particle size larger than the thickness of the ink layer in the ink layer, release and the transfer of the ink layer can be prevented. Therefore, sufficiently satisfied many-time printing becomes possible and an abnormal image due to the release and transfer of the ink layer is not generated.
