PURPOSE:To easily and reliably inspect a welding condition during manufacture of a tank, by a method wherein a potential difference is produced between an electrode and anither electrode immersed in liquid in a tank, and a resistance value thereof is measured. CONSTITUTION:An iron wire 9 surrounds the periphery of a tank 1 in a condition to be embedded in flange parts 7 and 8. A copper wire 13 is secured in place in the tank 1, and its forward end must be extended further downward than at least the positions of the flange parts 7 and 8. The surface of liquid is submerged in fuel liquid 14, and this keeps a condition in which a detecting motion is permited. A current detecting circuit 16 is located on a line which interconnects a power source 15 and the copper wire 13, and a signal from the circuit 16 is displayed in a display device 17. In case welding of a juncture between the flange parts 7 and 8 is made incompletely, a resistance value is reduced, a fine current flows, the display device 17 is driven by means of a detecting signal, and liquid leakage warning is alarmed. |
